LOLER
LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations)
As a responsible mobility equipment supplier, once lifting equipment has been installed, we must carry out an initial certified LOLER inspection before the equipment is first used. This process is then ongoing to ensure the equipment reaches the following criteria:
- It is fit for purpose, marked with the date it was inspected and then inspected regularly thereafter.Â
- Lifting operations must be planned by a competent person and carried out safely.
- Equipment should be installed to reduce the risk of injury.
- Equipment must be strong and stable enough for its intended use.
- Records must be kept of all inspections and maintenance activities, and any defects must be reported. The equipment must be then marked when the next inspection is due.
We offer LOLER inspections as part of anfor domestic users, also to schools, private and local authority nursing homes and residential homes.

Removals
Removal Services
Once you no longer have use for the equipment, the time may come to remove it. If the equipment has been purchased from us, installed and maintained by us, we do offer a removal service and possible repurchase depending on the age and condition of the equipment. When repurchasing equipment, the removal fee is taken into consideration when we offer you a repurchase price. A repurchased item can then be reused, or we have the option to dismantle it for spares, or to scrap it if that is the best route to take. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we aim to keep equipment functioning for as long as is economic and feasible.
If we have not installed the equipment, we can still offer a removal service. Depending on the type and age of the equipment, and what we are going to do with it, we usually charge a removal fee for this service.
