Through Floor Lift Solutions
The Wessex range of through floor lifts, or vertical lifts, are designed and manufactured in the UK, specifically for installation into domestic settings.
When used in the home environment, a vertical lift provides a solution for those who want to move between floors more easily. Designed in such a way that a lift shaft is not necessary, the amount of space that the lift takes up is kept to a minimum. The Vertical Modular (VM) open lift, Vertical Enclosed (VE) and Enclosed Luxury (Elesse) range of through floor home lifts are designed to accommodate a range of users. These can suit standing or seated passengers, as well as wheelchair users.

Wessex VM Range
Originally designed in 1976, the Wessex VM has a classic design which is well suited to the home environment.
During the last 45+ years, the design has transformed so that it accommodates both ambulant and wheelchair users, perfectly suited to installation in domestic dwellings. The VM range is designed to help you live independently, offering an affordable, high quality, unobtrusive solution.
The wide range of VM lifts means that there is an option available for everyone. There are various sizes of lift, which should provide a solution for any home and circumstance. These range from the VM30, which is the most compact lift, to the VM38 large lift that will accommodate a tilt in space reclining chair.
A range of optional extras are also available for the VM lifts, including:
Up to 3.5m travel
Internal seat
Power door
Custom colours or decals

Wessex VE Range
The Wessex VE lift has evolved from the design of the VM lift, building upon the already wide range of features on offer with the VM.
Originally released in 2015, the VE has since grown in popularity. It has the additional benefit of allowing standing passengers, or multiple occupants, to travel between floors. It is designed to be compact, easy to install and well suited for the home.
The VE range of lifts comes in a variety of sizes, from the VE30 which is the most compact lift, to the VE38 large lift that will accommodate a carer and wheelchair together. Almost anyone can use the lift unaided, and because of the enclosed design, carers can accompany users in the lift if required.

Wessex Elesse – The Luxury Alternative to a Stairlift
The Elesse has been designed for situations where a stairlift is not a viable option for the user.
A compact version of a home lift, it is designed to be as comfortable, safe and easy to use as possible. The Elesse successfully combines the benefits of a traditional stairlift with the functionality of a full-sized passenger lift.
With a small footprint, the Elesse has no requirement for a wall, keeping construction work to a minimum and allowing the lift to be fitted in a variety of locations in the home. It is also easy to maintain and less costly than a larger lift, despite the use of premium materials and options available for customisation.
The range of optional extras is as follows:
Leather perch seat
Custom colours or decals
Door hinge on either right or left hand side
