Welcome to TVMC Mobility
A family run local business, specialising in installing and maintaining mobility equipment to help empower independence.
Business founder Kevin O’Leary began his working career, aged 16, as an apprentice vehicle builder at British Rail Engineering Ltd. Eastleigh in Hampshire. From there, an opportunity arose to join Wessex Medical (now Wessex Lifts), as a lift engineer. After progressing to be a commissioning engineer, then running the installation department, Kevin moved onto a smaller company in Romsey who specialised in providing hoisting solutions – Test Valley Mobility – eventually becoming the service manager. By the time a chance arose to relocate and move to Cheltenham, Kevin had gained 16 years’ experience within the industry and so, in 2000, he founded TVM Cheltenham.
Kevin’s level of expertise and knowledge from within the industry provided a strong foundation for his own enterprise. The business continued to expand and was incorporated as TVM Cheltenham Ltd in 2004. Since then, thanks to hard work and commitment from the whole team, the company has been recognised as a leading UK independent mobility specialist. Now, with over 40 years of industry experience, the company excels at delivering a reliable local service and providing quality equipment to enable independent living. Wessex Lifts remain a close industry partner of the company.
In 2025, the business reached its 25th anniversary of trading and now operates under the trading name of TVMC Mobility. The business continues to evolve and grow, with Kevin, supported by his family and the entire team, at its heart.

Originally established in Gloucestershire, the business has grown organically to now include South Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset.
In these areas, due to gaining local government contracts, we undertake public sector work alongside supporting a large private client base. Working within the locality, rather than nationwide, is extremely important to us – by keeping our operating base compact, we can be confident that our service is personal and efficient, and that we can adhere to quick response times. Gympanzees mission is to enable every child and young person with a disability to access regular play, exercise and friendship, to improve their physical and mental health and well-being, and to take their families out of isolation.
North Bristol Foodbank have been open since 2011 and during that time they have helped more than 60 000 people in crisis with the provision of emergency food parcels. A crisis may come in many forms, such as benefit changes, debt, redundancy, ill-health, family break up or just unexpected large bills.
