Refurbished Equipment
In addition to our range of new products available for installation, we are also able to offer a selection of refurbished options.
This provides a cost-effective option for the client and helps increase sustainability by extending the life of equipment which is still fit for purpose. Suitable equipment is sourced according to strict criteria, to ensure that we are happy to include it in our range. It is extremely important to us to be aware of the history of the equipment we offer as refurbished, for traceability purposes. Hence, for a good number of years now we have offered a repurchase scheme for equipment that we have supplied, installed and maintained ourselves for clients. As part of this process, we remove, refurbish and prepare the equipment to be refitted.

All refurbished equipment is tested fully before it leaves the workshop. When it is then re-installed, it is warrantied for 12 months on parts and labour.

We recongnise that a rental service is sometimes the best option for some of our clients.
For instance, it may be that the equipment is only required temporarily, i.e. for a recovery period following hospital discharge, or a relative or friend visiting for a short period of time. It could also be a preferred option to have access to a piece of equipment at a fixed monthly cost, knowing that it will be fully maintained until you no longer require it.
The costs for rental are based on the following:
New track (only required if a curved stairlift)
Initial installation of equipment
Removal of the equipment when it is no longer required
Any additional work required so that the equipment can be fitted

How does rental equipment work?
What is covered in your monthly rental costs?
One month in rental cost in advance (based on 52 weeks in a year divided by 12 which will give 12 equal monthly payments)
The regular monthly rental cost includes the cost of regular servicing and any repairs which may be necessary. The exception to this is in the instance of a repair being required due to misuse (for example – the equipment being turned off or left off charge). In this event, an additional payment would be charged to cover the cost of the repair.
